Elizabeth Proctor Connell Berry was born in Beith, North Ayrshire, Scotland around 1907. She started at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in 1925 and in the 1925-1926 session studied French and Mathematics. In the 1926-1927 session she took English, History and Logic. Her final year of study, 1927-1928, saw her study Higher English, Higher History and Scottish History. She graduated MA in June 1928, later becoming a teacher. She appears to have died c.1986. These are Economic History lecture notes, possibly a lecturer's own notes. There are 6 notebooks within a slipcase. On the slipcase is written in pencil "Dr James Cunnison? Alec Macfie?" The identification of the author of these notes is not certain. There is one letter within volume 6 addressed to Dr Cunnison, but without a comparison of handwriting it has not possible to assign these notes to Dr Cunnison. References within the notes would indicate that they were written after 1924. ...
